Ms. Mitchell has served as a Director of Kohl’s since February 2021. She has 25 years of retail and e-commerce experience, honed through various senior executive roles at prominent retailers, including Club Monaco, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger, and as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) specializing in the retail and apparel sectors.
Since August 2021, Ms. Mitchell has served as a Senior Advisor at BCG, having been a Partner and Managing Director on the Fashion and Luxury leadership team from June 2016 to August 2021. Prior to joining BCG, Ms. Mitchell was the Chief Operating Officer of Club Monaco, a subsidiary of Ralph Lauren Corporation, a luxury and apparel company, from 2011 to 2015. From 2001 to 2011, Ms. Mitchell held several executive management positions at Ralph Lauren, including Senior Vice President, Chief of Staff; Senior Vice President, Global Business Process Integration and Supply Chain Management; and Vice President, Wholesale Polo Brand. Before joining Ralph Lauren, Ms. Mitchell held various senior executive roles in strategy and operations at Tommy Hilfiger and GFT USA, a designer apparel manufacturer and distributor, from 1997 to 2000. Earlier in career, Ms. Mitchell spent nine years working in the consulting and investment banking industries at McKinsey & Company, BCG, and Lehman Brothers, where she specialized in the retail and apparel sectors. Since September 2021, Ms. Mitchell has served as a Director of Piper Sandler Companies (NYSE: PIPR), an investment bank and institutional securities firm.
